That is how Greeks raise a glass. And that is how we see our restaurant: a place to come together, take your time and eat well.
Yiamas sits quietly in the old town of Bad Soden, just a few steps from the Quellenpark. Our dining room is set in an old half-timbered house: white-clothed tables under wooden beams, and warm, soft light in the evening.
We serve honest Greek food: our tzatziki and tirokafteri are homemade, and so are the soutzoukakia and bifteki. From the grill come lamb, souvlaki and gyros. Enjoy them with a glass of wine or a cold beer – and perhaps an ouzo to finish.

Behind the house lies our beer garden: gravel underfoot, hydrangeas and oleander in large pots, and a dense canopy of leaves above. It is just as lovely for Sunday lunch as for a long summer evening when the lanterns come on.

For occasions that need more room than a single table, Yiamas has two large function rooms – bright and festive, with crystal chandeliers, half-timbered walls and white-covered chairs. On request, we decorate the table to suit your occasion.
Whether it is a birthday or anniversary, a christening, communion or confirmation, an intimate wedding, a company party or a Christmas dinner with your team: we give your occasion a festive setting, all year round.
You can choose between two rooms. Together we put together the menu – a selection of mezedes to share, platters from the grill or a multi-course meal. We take care of the rest. In summer, your party can also extend into the beer garden.

Hot food Tue–Sat until 10 pm, Sundays and public holidays from 12 noon to 9 pm. Closed on Mondays.

Vegetarian & vegan
Many starters are vegetarian, such as gigantes, dolmadakia, saganaki or horiatiki. Hummus, olives and pepperoni are vegan.

Little ones get their own kids’ plates, for example gyros, souvlaki, schnitzel or meatballs with fries, from €7.50.
